Stardraw Cloud doesn’t just draw your system — it understands how it connects. Link products port-to-port with cables and let the application check that the design actually works.
Connect products with real cables
Draw a cable between two products’ ports and it becomes part of the Project. Cables are glued to the ports they join, so they follow the equipment when you move it around a drawing. Every Project has its own Cables list where you can see and edit every connection.
Automatic connection checking
As you connect ports, Stardraw Cloud validates each link and flags problems before they reach the installer:
- Direction — confirms a cable runs from an output to an input.
- Signal — warns when the two ports carry different signal types.
- Connector compatibility — warns when the two connector types aren’t a permitted pairing, with the option to override a connector on a specific cable.
Valid connections show a green tick; anything questionable shows a warning with the exact reason, so your Users catch wiring mistakes as they design.
